From our inception the FRA’s purpose was to advocate for sailors rights.  Our association started with the efforts of a few enlisted men who pooled their money to send two Navy Chief Petty Officers to testify before Congress on pay reform.  Since that time the FRA has established an enviable track record of promoting favorable legislation for members of the Naval Service.  Today our focus remains on pay along with health care benefits and quality-of-life programs for current and former enlisted Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard personnel.


For those who don’t think their individual membership matters, every member helps strengthen FRA’s legislative advocacy work, which is benefiting members in many ways.  We need members for support and endorsement of our important programs
